Nationals | Jacksonville, FL | June 24-28, 2026

The top 5 group routines in each age division will be eligible to compete in the Ultimate Challenge of the Champions. After awards, the top 5 routines (limit one routine per studio) will be announced and have 5 minutes to change and return to re-perform. The judges will award a second runner up, first runner up and winner. 

Soloists who compete at an Ignite regional event and are awarded first overall or Artist on Fire are invited to perform in our National Opening Number. Each year, 100+ dancers perform in our opening number choreographed by one of our esteemed faculty members. This is an incredible opportunity to work with an industry professional and build community with dancers from other studios!

Each year, Ignite partners with Kendra Scott stores to raise money at our regional events for our Senior Scholarship. Graduating seniors attending a 2 or 4 year university or conservatory program that are competing at Ignite Nationals are invited to apply for the scholarship to use towards their education. Scholarships will be selected by the Ignite team and awarded during senior solos at Nationals. 

Exclusively at Ignite Nationals, dancers can enter our improv competition for each age division. Dancers will be split into groups and have 1 minute to improv to a randomly selected song. The judges will choose a winner for each division. 

Each day of Nationals will have a different theme. Studios and dancers are encouraged to dress up according to that theme. Each day, the Ignite team will choose one studio who best embodied that theme. The Studio of the Day will get to choose a charity of their choice that Ignite will make a $100 donation on their behalf to.

Dancers competing a solo at Nationals are automatically entered in our Dancer of the Year title competition for their age division and level. Soloists who are crowned dancers of the year will be awarded a partial scholarship to one of our fall conventions.
